General Situation The weak southwest monsoon over the upper Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand causes less rain over the areas.
During 1-6 July, the monsoon will strengthen over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf leading to more rain over the East and the upper South. Less rain is expected in the upper country. The strong wind waves are likely in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the areas keep ashore.
