Weather Forecast The monsoon trough will lie across upper Thailand and upper Laos. The southwest monsoon across the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand will strengthen throughout the period leading to rain overall country. Isolated heavy rain will be expected in the upper South and the East while strong wind waves are possible 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand.
Typhoon “SOUDELOR” in the Pacific will head to the east coast of China during 7-8 Aug. The storm has not a significant impact on Thailand.
Warning During 5-10 Aug, People in risky areas in the South and the East should beware of severe weather conditions. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution, and small boats in the Andaman Sea keep a shore during 5-9 Aug.

and isolated heavy rain mostly in the upper and western part.
