Weather Forecast During 31 Aug - 2 Sep, the monsoon trough will lie across the upper portion of North and the Northeast to a low pressure cell over Gulf of Tonkin, and the southwest monsoon prevailing over the upper Andaman Sea, southern and the Gulf of Thailand will strengthen. Increasing rain is expected over the country and isolated heavy rain in the North, the Northeast, and the East with wave height about 2 meters in the Andaman Sea. After that during 3 – 6 Sep, the monsoon trough will lie across Myanmar and Laos, and the southwest monsoon prevailing over the upper Andaman Sea, southern and the Gulf of Thailand will weaken. Less rain is expected all Thailand.Warning During 31 Aug - 2 Sep, People in the North, the Northeast, and the East should beware of heavy rain. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution.
