General Situation The weak high pressure covers upper Thailand. Outbreaks of cool spells are still likely with patchy fog in the morning but a rise in temperature by 1-2 C. Except the North, temperatures are slight drop because the westerly winds in the upper air prevail cover this area. All transports should proceed with caution in poor visibility. The weak northeast monsoon prevails across the lower Gulf and the South.
During 23-26 Feb, the moderate high pressure areas from China will extended to cover the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea causes the lower Northeast, the East and the Central has thundershowers with gust in the first period, after that the air colder and temperature drop 2-4 C. The Northeast monsoon prevails cover the Gulf and the South of Thailand will strengthen cause these are more rain. During 24-27 Feb, wind wave in the Gulf will intensify, about 2-3 meters high. All ships should be procedure with caution and small boat in the lower Gulf keep ashore during the period.
