General Situation The weak southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and the South. Less rain over the upper country while the western North, the Central and the East are more rain than the other region. Andaman Sea has weak waves.

At 04.00 a.m. LST on 22 August, tropical storm “HATO” over northern Luzon of the Philippines is moving west through the upper South China Sea by today (22 August) and it will move pass Hong Kong Island and the South of China during 23-24 August. The storm has no significant impact on Thailand during 1-2 days. Travelers should stay tuned for the weather update.

Eastern Part Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri,

Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.
