On behalf of the Government and people of Thailand, I have the honour to congratulate Your Excellency and the German people on the auspicious occasion of the Day of German Unity.
It is gratifying to note that Thailand and Germany have always enjoyed close and cordial ties in all areas which have continued to grow. I am pleased that there has been good progress in many areas of cooperation that we discussed during my official visit to Germany last year, especially in education, green economy and alternative energy. I, therefore, strongly support regular exchanges of high level visits to help maintain the positive momentum in our bilateral relations. In this regard, I look forward to continuing to work closely with Your Excellency to further strengthen the friendly ties as well as maximize the potential between our two countries for our mutual benefits.
