ด้วยวันที่ ๗ สิงหาคม ๒๕๕๗ เป็นวันครบรอบ ๕๔ ปี แห่งวันประกาศเอกราชและเป็นวันชาติของสาธารณรัฐโกตดิวัวร์ นั้น พล.อ.ประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา หัวหน้าคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติ (คสช.) และนายสีหศักดิ์ พวงเกตุแก้ว ปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ รักษาราชการแทนรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศได้มีสารแสดงความยินดีถึงประธานาธิบดีโกตดิวัวร์และรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศโกตดิวัวร์ ดังนี้

On behalf of the Government and the people of the Kingdom of Thailand, I have the honour to extend to Your Excellency, and through you, to the Government and the people of the Republic of C?te d’Ivoire, our heartfelt congratulations and warmest wishes on the auspicious occasion of the 54th Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of C?te d’Ivoire.
The bonds of friendship and cooperation between Thailand and the Republic of C?te d’Ivoire have been cordial, filled with mutual trust, respect, and understanding.
