TCELS MOU with Rajanukulhospital ,Mahidol University and National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC) an aim to develop Tripple test for down’s syndrome Rajanukul/ Four agencies ,including Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Science (TCELS) Ministry of Science and Technology, Rajanukul hospital Department of Mental Health Ministry of Public Health , Mahidol University and National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC) Ministry of Science and technology, sign a memorandum of understanding for project “Development of prenatal screening test for down syndrome” on March 16,2012 at Rajanukul Hospital Assistant director of TCELS Kamchorn Balangura, said his agency has been cooperating with Rajanukul Hospital since 2005 to carry out the Pharmacogenomics project will to improve their quality of life of Thai people to reduce adverse reaction of patient before using medicine. This offers a great benefit to the country.Kamchorn said previous diagnosis for Down syndrome were limited only pregnant woman over35 years old meanwhile pregnant woman younger than 35 years old cannot access to diagnosis because the cost of diagnosis is very much expensive and there is a risk to abortion . This development will reduce the Triple Test process, reduce the cost of technique, Which will increase the access to all pregnancy. And we hope will be push in to national help care program.
