Photo Release: KBank, JBIC offer soft loans to flood-hit Japanese firms

Bangkok--20 Apr--KBank Recently at KASIKORNBANK Head Office, KASIKORNBANK CEO and President, Mr. Banthoon Lamsam (2nd from the left) and Mr. Kazuo Yuhara (2nd from the right), Managing Executive Officer, Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) signed an agreement for 2.8-billion-Baht loan (7.5 billion Japanese yen) to be provided to flood-hit Thai-Japanese businesses. Under this agreement, loans of up to 100 percent of investment value will be granted for the period of seven years, at special lending rate of 4-5% with no interest for the first year. Mr. Areepong Bhoocha-oom (3rd from the left), Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Finance also attended the ceremony.
