Thai Tap Water Supply Plc. (TTW) announces its revenue of 2012 first quarter rising by 20% as compared to that of 2011 first quarter. This leads to the increase in the revenue of the company and its subsidiary due to the very and quickly hot weather condition along with the decrease in tax expenses.
Mr.Sompodh Sripoom, TTW’s Managing Director, reveals that the total revenue in the reviewed and consolidated financial statement in the 2012 first quarter of the company and in its subsidiaries are 1,331.5 million bahts increasing by 20% from the same period of previous year which had the revenue by 1,110.2 million bahts along with the net profit by 665.9 million bahts rising by 30% from the same period of previous year which had the net profit by 511.5 million bahts. This is because the company’s sell volume 64.8 million cu.m., increases from the previous year by 9% leading to the rising revenue of the company and its subsidiaries as well as the tax expenses decrease. As a result, the company’s total asset, total liabilities and equities as of 31 March,2012 are 21,172 million bahts, 11,313 million bahts and 9,859 million bahts, respectively.
Mr.Sompodh adds more that concerning the acquisition in CKP’s newly issued common shares, the company has obtained the shareholder’s approval since the late of 2011 and it expects to reach the conclusion at the beginning of May. At the moment, CKP is additionally preparing to invest in solar farm business, be listed in the stock exchange of Thailand at the end of this year as well as under the due diligence with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
