Bangkok--29 May--The Stock Exchange of Thailand
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) announced that three members were elected to its board of governors to replace those whose terms will end on May 27, 2012, at a general meeting of member companies today. Mr. Rapee Sucharitakul, Advisor to the President of Muang Thai Life Assurance Co., Ltd., was re-elected for a second term. Meanwhile, Mr. Suthep Peetakanont, Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of Capital Nomura Securities pcl, and Mr. Chaipatr Srivisarvacha, Executive Chairman of Seamico Securities pcl, and Executive Chairman and CEO of KT Zmico Securities Co., Ltd., were chosen to take seats of Mr. Somjate Moosirilert and Mr. Surabhon Kwunchaithunya. Their terms will run from May 28, 2012 — May 27, 2014. Governors serve for two-year terms, and may serve no more than two consecutive terms.
