Lenovo (HKSE: 992) (ADR: LNVGY) today launched their latest addition to the IdeaCentre family, the industry’s slimmest 27-inch IdeaCentre A720 All-in-One (AIO) equipped with the new quad-core 3rd Generation Intel Core processors and coupled with Lenovo Enhanced Experience 3 (EE 3) for Windows 7.

The IdeaCentre A720 is ideally equipped to become the centre of the digital home as it provides fun and entertainment for all the family, whether it’s playing multiplayer games, watching the latest movies together or video-calling distant friends and family. This AIO’s stunning good looks means it fits comfortably into modern and fashionable home design while it’s collection of awards, including the Best All-in-One Desktop at CES 2012 and awards from PC Mag, PC World and Computer Shopper, give testament to the power and performance packed inside.
As the industry’s slimmest 27-inch AIO, the IdeaCentre A720 sports a sleek metal exterior and is a mere 24.5mm, thinner than a typical club sandwich. Its frameless display screen supports 10-point multi-touch. The improved AIO design is engineered to optimize the touch experience in the ‘digital’ home by allowing a widely adjustable hinge screen to be pulled towards the user at an angle of -5o and folded back to an angle of up to 90o. This foldable screen makes touch applications more comfortable to use and maneuver especially over longer periods of time.
Offering extraordinary graphics performance powered by NVIDIA? GeForce? graphics, the desktop comes with up to 1TB HDD and 64 GB SSD storage. Enhanced Experience 3.0
Each machine includes the Lenovo Enhanced Experience 3 (EE3) for Windows 7, and can be easily identified by the Lenovo Enhanced Experience 3 for Windows 7 certification sticker affixed to them.
EE3 certified products feature supreme Windows start-up performance and other optimization features. These products, with their traditional spinning disk hard drive (HDD), can start on average 40 percent faster than typical Windows 7 PC users, thanks to Lenovo’s RapidBoot technology. RapidBoot uses optimized processes and hardware settings to allow Lenovo PCs to boot up faster.
EE3 certified Lenovo PCs boot up in 24 seconds on average, while the typical Windows 7 PC trails with an average time of 41 seconds.
