AEON has launched a new service with 7-Eleven which allows AEON Your Cash cardholders to withdraw cash via Counter Service at 6,800 7-Eleven stores nationwide.
Since June 2006, AEON has provided “Your Cash”, a revolving loan service to customers who want to use the revolving loan or credit line to withdraw money from AEON’s ATMs. Now AEON is the first Non-Bank provider in Thailand to introduce this service through its Counter Service which will provide more convenience to AEON customers to withdraw money at all 7-Eleven stores.
Using Counter Service, AEON Your Cash cardholders can conveniently withdraw between 1,000 baht and 5,000 baht per time. The new service will allow customers to withdraw cash between 8.00 am. - 10.00 pm. everyday. AEON expects 20% of Your Cash customers to use this service on a monthly basis. This service will enhance the cash withdraw network by adding to the existing ATM network. This service is set to commence in July 2012.
“This is a completely new money channel for the Thai market and our partnership with Counter Service and 7-Eleven means the service is truly nationwide because of their superb network of convenient stores,” Mr. Yasuhiko Kondo, Managing Director, AEON Thana Sinsap (Thailand) Public Company Limited said.
Mr. Piyawat Titasattavorakul, President, CP ALL Public Company Limited and Managing Director, Counter Service Company Limited said that “Counter Service is committed to expand its service and look for innovation ways to meet the demands of customers who value speed and convenience.”
Counter Service welcomes this new channel of adding value to its service by allowing customers to withdraw money at more than 6,800 7-Eleven stores throughout Thailand. “We believe that this new service channel will help increase our customer base.” Mr. Piyawat added.
Using Counter Service, AEON Your Cash cardholders can easily, safety, and conveniently withdraw money using a One-Time-Password (OTP) obtained by calling AEON automatic call centre 02-655-0123. After receiving the OTP on their mobile customer can go to any 7-Eleven stores and present their ID-Card, AEON member card, and OTP to receive cash for Counter Service at 7-Eleven.
