SCB Securities has initiated a new premium service to investors by launching a “Personal Portfolio Improvement Chat” scheme featuring leading investment strategists ready to provide information and advice on repairing and improving securities investment portfolios for investors opening trading accounts with the company.
SCBS Chief Executive Officer M.L. Thongmakut Thongyai said that the firm realized the importance of continuously offering quality services and useful information to investors as part of its efforts to become their clients' “The Broker of choice”. To maximize customer satisfaction, SCBS helps its clients make prudent securities investment plans that will fulfill their investment goals at an acceptable risk level. Under the “Personal Portfolio Improvement Chat” scheme, the company's investment strategy team will provide clients with updated information and helpful advice, and is ready to advise each client participating in the scheme on how to repair and improve their securities investment portfolio. SCBS is confidant that this new scheme will help boost investment returns for clients and reduce the risk levels to which they are exposed. The scheme was initiated in response to capital market regulators encouraging securities companies to compete with each other in terms of investment information service quality rather than through price-cutting strategies.
The “Personal Portfolio Improvement Chat” scheme will be implemented in two steps, featuring the organization of seminars and the provision of useful face-to-face advice to securities investment portfolio owners. The first step, “Personal Portfolio Improvement Chat”, involves keeping investors updated with investment conditions in local and overseas stock markets. The second step, “Portfolio Improvement” involves repairing the investment portfolios of investors suffering loss on individual stocks, advising them on how to improve their portfolios, and recommending attractive stocks for better investment returns.
