In a bid to boost its international strategies and policy planning, Siam Commercial Bank has strengthened its Wholesale Banking Group executive team with the appointment of Mr. Manop Sangiambut as Executive Vice President of International Banking Business. The appointment will pave the way for SCB's expansion in the region.
Mr. Manop brings a wealth of almost 20 years of experience and personal capabilities in finance and international investments, especially in Chinese capital market, which will be key to the strategic planning of the Bank's international business, one of the main thrusts in the near future. Before joining SCB, Mr. Manop served as Head of China A-share Research at CLSA Shanghai, specializing in both China macro strategy and sector investment research. Before CLSA, he worked at the Ministry of Finance.
Mr. Manop earned his Master of Business Administration in Finance from Carnegie Mellon University, USA and a Bachelor of Accounting in Accounting Information Systems from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.
