at the Solar Quality Workshop on ”20 years of grid connected PV systems: Lessons learnt from Germany why quality matters” initiatived by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi). The BMWi has commissioned the the German-Bilateral Chambers of Commerce (AHKs) and GIZ to jointly implement the initiative’s regional activities in the promotion of renewable energies in South-East Asia. The workshop aims to increase the awareness for performance orientation at all stages of grid connected solar PV projects. The impact of quality on performance and profitability are key topics to be explored and discussed with a clear focus on technological and economic questions. Different players of the solar PV market in Thailand and Germany share their fact-based and practical insights from the public and private sector perspective.
