Bangkok--12 Jun--TMB “TMB One Bank, One Account” empowers business customers by breaking the boundaries of the typical inter-region banking transactions TMB continues to reinforce its “Make THE Difference” brand philosophy by empowering business customers through an innovative enterprise solution, "One Bank, One Account". With this new transactional banking account, business customers will be able to leverage TMB’s infrastructure to achieve greater transactional efficiency that provides superior liquidity management. One Bank, One Account customers will no longer need to worry about limitations of making inter-region transactions which include deposit and withdrawals to and from this account in other regions, even for their own check deposit. In other words, business customers who use the service will be able to make transactions on their One Bank, One Account at any TMB branch as if it were their “home” branch. Mr. Paphon Mangkhalathanakun, TMB’s Chief SME and Supply Chain Officer, explained “TMB One, Bank One Account breaks the norm of the typical business transactional account where, for a long time, business customers have been forced to comply to pay fees for inter-region transactions made on their accounts within a bank. Customers had to adapt and try to outsmart the system by having many accounts opened in several provinces causing all kinds of poor liquidity management and a poor banking experience. TMB One Bank, One Account improves the status quo by eliminating the borders between inter-region transactions. Business customers who use TMB One Bank, One Account will now be able to execute incoming and outgoing cash inter-region transactions on the account at any TMB branch as if they were at their main branch with no extra fee charged. The clearing period of check deposited to this account at any TMB branch will be shortened. Customers who use TMB One Bank, One Account will definitely gain higher transactional efficiency and better liquidity.” Under TMB One Bank, One Account, customers who sign up will have a savings account opened in parallel with another current account. In addition to the unlimited TMB inter-region transactional benefit above, customers who maintain a minimum of THB150,000 in their savings account will get a complimentary check book on top of each check book purchased and are entitled to free 10 over-the-counter inter-bank transfers per month with a maximium of THB100,000 per transaction. The number of free inter-bank transactions will be increased to 30 for a balance of THB350,000 and above. In addition to the great transactional benefit value, the savings account under this program also yields the same interest rate as TMB’s standard savings account which currently starts from 0.125% per year.
