Siam Commercial Bank has appointed Mr. Tawatchai Cheevanon CIO of the bank's Business Alignment Division, Information Technology Group to strengthen the ability of SCB's IT management in supporting business growth.
Mr. Tawatchai, EVP and CIO of the Business Alignment Division, Information Technology Group, will be responsible for coordination between the IT Group and business units to ensure that IT development and innovation can fully and effectively support the bank's business operations in achieving optimal results.
Mr. Tawatchai possesses financial services IT expertise, and extensive experience with customer relationship management and IT strategic planning for financial institutions. Prior to joining SCB, he accumulated IT experience in sales and service with IBM Thailand Co., Ltd., where his last position was Country Manager of Global Technology Services.
Mr. Tawatchai earned his Master of Business Administration in International Management from Seattle University, USA, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Assumption University, Thailand.
