
Helping Thai people access healthcare - Bangkok Bank continued to support the country's social development through the work of the 78th Mobile Medical and Dental Unit. Bangkok Bank, led by Vice President Public Relations Department Mr.Suwit Indrachalerm, Assistant Vice President Health Care Department Dr.Sripetch Kanjanakeerana, and Kamphaeng Phet Branch Manager Mrs.Nutchuree Into, gave a donation of 100,000 baht, 18 wheelchairs, 800 pairs of reading glasses, and 500 bottles or drinking water to Dr.Rim Kessakorn, Chairman of the Mobile Medical and Dental Unit Foundation. The event was held at the community hall in Amphoe Lan Krabue, Kamphaeng Phet Province. Mr. Anucha Phatsathan, Deputy Governor of Kamphaeng Phet Province, presided over the opening ceremony.
The Mobile Medical and Dental Unit Foundation helps improve the quality of life of people through its mobile units which provide access to free medical and dental services for underprivileged people and those living in rural and remote areas. Through the service, people can access general medical treatments, such as internal medicine, dermatology, ENT, ophthalmology, and pediatric healthcare. They can also access alternative treatments, such as acupressure massage and acupuncture, which are provided by the Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine, Ministry of Public Health. Comprehensive dental services are also provided free of charge, including dentures, extractions, fillings, periodontal treatment, fissure sealants, fluoride treatment and dental cleaning.
Some 1,268 people accessed medical and dental services at the event. Bangkok Bank has continuously supported the Mobile Medical and Dental Unit Foundation for 14 years since 2011. In 2025, the Bank supported four activities, with a total contribution of 400,000 baht, emphasizing its role as a trusted partner and reliable close friend who supports Thai society.
