This year's participants comprised a comprehensive cross-section of the gaming industry ecosystem, including game developers, publishers, educational institutions, investors, gamers, and both domestic and international media representatives. Throughout the four-day event, attendees contributed to creating a vibrant atmosphere that demonstrated the interconnectedness of Thailand's gaming industry across the entire value chainfrom upstream to downstream sectors. This underscored Thailand's role as a comprehensive "Game Provider," offering end-to-end services spanning development, production, and full-scale content creation within the gaming industry. This reflects Thailand's transformation from a consumer market to an innovator and producer of competitive gaming products on the international stage.
Currently, Thailand hosts numerous game studios and developers who have gained global recognition for their excellence in graphics quality, gameplay design, and content creation that resonates with both domestic and international players. Consequently, gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2025 served not merely as a showcase platform but as a catalyst for the creative economy, enabling Thailand to expand business opportunities in esports and foster collaborations with investors worldwide.

The government is advancing the development and promotion of a Gaming Industry Promotion Act to systematically enhance Thailand's gaming industry across investment, intellectual property protection, and digital talent development, thereby instilling confidence among domestic and international entrepreneurs and investors. Thailand possesses highly qualified professionals specializing in Animation, Computer Graphics, Game Studios, Visual Effects, and Digital Content in sufficient numbers to meet global market demand. Additionally, Thailand has established studios and experienced game developers capable of supporting large-scale international projects.
Furthermore, Internet User surveys reveal that Thailand has over 40 million gamers with continuous growth rates, reflecting robust purchasing power and demand. This positions Thailand as an attractive market for gaming industry investment. Concurrently, Thailand maintains comprehensive digital infrastructure to fully support the gaming industry, with high-speed internet coverage exceeding 98% nationwide and 5G networks offering high-speed and stable connectivity across multiple areas, enabling efficient content production and cloud and streaming services. The Thai government has prepared incentive measures for foreign investors, including Smart Visas for technology industry experts and investors, tax exemptions and tax incentives for establishing studios or investing in Thailand, and an Ease of Doing Business system facilitating rapid and convenient business establishment. These elements collectively demonstrate Thailand's comprehensive readiness in terms of human resources, consumer markets, and infrastructure conducive to holistic gaming industry growth, while building confidence among domestic and international investors.
