Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Academy of Global Business Advancement (AGBA) for holding the tenth global conference of AGBA. The conference will be held from 15-17 June 2013 and will focus on “Green Business.”.
The MoU was inked during a visit of Prof. Zafar U Ahmed, President and CEO of AGBA. Prof. Ahmed was in AIT to conduct a workshop on the theme “Defining the Frontiers of World-Class Business Research and Tips for Publishing Scholarship in World-Class Journals.”
AGBA’s previous nine conferences have been organized in India, China, Malaysia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. AGBA was established in the US State of Texas as a "Not-for-Profit" organization in 2000, and is currently headquartered at the AACSB accredited School of Business, Utah Valley University (USA). It also jointly owns two journals with Inderscience Company of Switzerland.
Prof. Ahmed is currently serving at the School of Business, Lebanese American University, Lebanon. He has also served as a tenured Professor of Marketing and International Business at the Texas A&M University at Commerce, (USA). He is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the UK based Journal for Global Business Advancement (www.inderscience.com/jgba); and founder and Editor-in Chief of the UK based Journal for International Business and Entrepreneurship Development (www.inderscience.com/jibed).
