New branches and exclusive distribution/service agreement with Volvo signals new market intent
Italthai Engineering Co.,Ltd. (ITI) a leading provider of business development and business management services in Thailand, has announced the launch of subsidiary company Italthai-Lao Machine Solution Co., Ltd. (ITL) as an importer and sole provider of full after-sales machinery services for Volvo in Laos PDR.
Commenting on the company's launch, Mr. Chalit Padungcheep, general manager of Italthai-Lao Machine Solution Co.,Ltd. (ITL) said, “Italthai Engineering is proud and honored to have the opportunity to establish itself in Laos and we look forward to our role as the sole importer, distributor and after-sales service provider for Volvo machinery in Laos PDR. The main types of equipment we will be dealing with are excavators, wheel loaders, compactors and articulated haulers. These are world class products known for their durability and high performance. In addition we will seek to offer value by focusing on fuel economy and lower costs of doing business. Italthai-Lao Machinery Solution Co.,Ltd. (ITL) was registered in Laos PDR in the middle of 2011 with authorized capital of 30 million Baht, having invested in a new office building and full maintenance facility including 6 machinery repair bays, a 80 sqm cleaning room for machinery overhaul and a 200 sqm warehouse. There is currently more than 4 million Baht in inventory stocked to meet the plans and needs of clients.
Whilst Italthai Lao Machinery Solution Co.,Ltd. is headquartered at Vientiane, it also has permanent service departments at Sayaboury district and Hong Sa district. “We plan to expand to the southern provinces to provide comprehensive services throughout Laos PDR. In terms of business practices in Laos, the company will focus on selling product with high quality standards and comprehensive after-sales services so that clients get the best value for money and can build strengths in their businesses.
