Bangkok--21 Nov--Henkel
Henkel has announced that Chamaiporn Uerpairojkit has decided to leave the company to pursue other opportunities and personal interests.
Chamaiporn joined Henkel in January 1990 as a Sales Supervisor in the Surface Technologies Department. From this initial position, she rose up to the top of the corporate ladder in Henkel Thailand, having been promoted to the position of Country Manager for Adhesive Technologies in 2003 and President of Henkel Thailand in 2006. She was the first female country president for Henkel in the Asia-Pacific region.
During her twenty-two years, Chamaiporn made many valuable contributions to the company's success. She was instrumental in successfully steering and consolidating the business in Thailand the last ten years through various changes. This included bringing the Beauty Care and Adhesive Technologies business sectors under a “One Henkel” corporate framework in 2006, and integrating the National Starch and Chemical business as part of the Adhesive Technologies sector in 2008. She also provided strong leadership in crisis management, driving the company to deliver excellent performance through periods of political unrest and the devastating flood disaster in 2011. Last year was a milestone for Henkel Thailand as it achieved record net sales.
Jan-Dirk Auris, Executive Vice President of Adhesive Technologies and a member of the Henkel Management Board, said, “Over the past 22 years, Khun Chamaiporn has been a key person in establishing a strong business presence for Henkel in Thailand and driving continuous profitable growth. This was also evident last year, when the business achieved record net sales despite the flood crisis. We wish Khun Chamaiporn all the best in her future endeavors.”
