adidas is pleased to announce the next generation of football boots —adizero f50 — which enablesplayers to be faster than ever beforeand givesthem a chance to own the spotlight.
The new adizero f50 is all about precision engineering with every aspect of the boot design based around making the wearer as fast as possible on the football field. At 165g, the adizero f50? is one of the lightest boots on the market. Football fans will get an early preview of what the boots can do when 2011 FIFA Ballon d’Or Winner, Lionel Messi, exclusively debuts them in the UEFA Champions LeagueTM against Celtic on 7November.
The new adizero f50 combines revolutionary technologies with cutting edge engineering in order to create the latest incarnation of the hugely successful silo series — adidas adizero. Just like its predecessor, the new adizero f50 contains the latest technology available, Sprintskin, Sprintweb and Sprintframe.
Sprintskin:
A 1.5mm-thick synthetic layer that allows the boot to be lightweight whilst maintaining a natural feeling between boot and ball
Sprintweb:
3D printed texture on the surface of the boot allowing for exceptional ball control at speed, and also provides the supple but stable construction
Sprintframe:
A strong, but lightweight, lower section that offers players a perfectly balanced boot
The next-generation technologies are designed to enable players to ‘Find Fast’. Each player’s performance metrics canbe tracked, analysed and compared against the best players around the world or with friends via social media networks using the ground breaking adidasmiCoach? capability. The specially constructed cavity within the new adizero f50? houses the adidasmiCoachSpeedcell? recording a player’s top speed, distance covered, and active zones and is the only performance tracking device that captures 360? movement. Once the data is captured, it can be wirelessly synced to an iPhone/iPod or PC/Mac allowing players to statistically analyse their performance, get tips and advice on how to improve, and compare themselves to their friends or teammates.
From mid-November onwards some of the best footballers in the world, including Lionel Messi, DaniAlves andDavild Villa from Barcelona FC, KarimBenzema of Real Madrid FC and David Silvaof Manchester City will dominate the game in the new adizero f50? boots.
adidas’ latest arsenal will be available at adidas owned-retail outlets, as well as specialist stores in Thailand retailing at a price of THB 7,690 and made available in Vivid Yellow colours.
