True Business’ mobile device management solution to feature Symantec App Center
Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC) has entered into an agreement with True Business, the business arm of True Corporation Plc that provides integrated telecommunication solutions for enterprise customers to offer Symantec App Center as part of True Business’ cloud solution portfolio. Symantec App Center enables mobile workforce productivity on managed corporate-owned and personally-owned devices while protecting enterprise data. The solution offers True Business’ customers a unified platform to address diverse enterprise mobility needs with security worry-free.
With the growing popularity of BYOD (Bring Your Own Devices), the proliferation of mobile devices has made the consumerisation of IT in the workplace more complex. Businesses want to improve efficiency and increase workplace effectiveness. Mobility offers them with the ideal platform to do just that. In Thailand, 89 percent of Thai enterprises are discussing private app stores, according to Symantec’s 2013 State of Mobility Survey.
