Bangkok--28 Aug--Korean Cultural Center in Thailand
Korean Cultural Center in Thailand (Director Kang Younkyong) invites the National Orchestra of Korea to perform on this Wednesday 11th September at 19.00 hrs. at KBank Siam Pic-Ganesha Theatre.
This is the first performance in Thailand of the National Orchestra of Korea to perform its own songs together with Thai music instrument and Thai traditional song. There would be the newly composed song that would make people of the both countries enjoy with high-quality Korean and Thai music conducted by Art Director Kim Sung-jin.
The performance includes the new song 'Together with Arirang in Bangkok' (composed by Kim Ho-joo) inspired from Korean and Thai traditional songs bringing 'Arirang' song which is the representative of peace to mix with the song called 'Khang Kao Kin Khluay' that reflect the manner and history of the 2 countries beautifully.
Also, Thai popular artist 'Arm - Kornkan Suttikoses' is invited to join performing Ranat (Thai Xylophone) in the song 'Lao Duang Duen' and 'Korean Drama OST Medley' with the National Orchestra of Korea, the orchestra which brings Korean traditional music instruments to perform together. Touch with the deep voice of the Korean male vocalist Yu Taepyungyang who is popular from TV programme 'Immortal Song' broadcasted on KBS Channel. Moreover, there would also be the songs 'Arirang Fantasy' and 'Boating Song for Orchestra Asia' dedicating for The Orchestra Asia which is the orchestra gathering Korean, Chinese, and Japanese traditional music instruments founded in 1993 that would make Thai and Korean people sympathize through the beautifully harmonious music performance.
This performance would be organized to strengthen Thailand – Korea friendship and celebrate on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of the ASEAN-ROK Dialogue Relations. Also, this performance would be organized in Thailand, the official host country of ASEAN Summit in 2019, to congratulate for ASEAN peace and economic growth.
