Bangkok--31 Jan--IMPACT Exhibition Management
The International Opticians Association Summit (IOA) 2020 which will take place in Bangkok from 7th June to 13th June 2020, will allocate one day of its summit programmes on 10th June for SILMO Bangkok 2020, the ASEAN Optical Fair.
The International Opticians Association (IOA) summit 2020 is a biennial summit of education and informative debates about the world of optics. This summit will take place in Bangkok for the 1st time and as such, a mutual agreement is concluded between IOA and the organizer of SILMO Bangkok 2020 to coincide the staging of a special IOA one-day summit on the opening day of SILMO Bangkok 2020.
The objectives for such an arrangement are to allow IOA international delegates to attend SILMO Bangkok 2020 and share IOA's knowledge and expertise, and as well as to have useful exchanges with delegates and participants of SILMO Bangkok 2020 on wide ranging topics related to the world of optics. Fiona Anderson, IOA President said "International Opticians Association summit 2020 will be filled with fun, education, engagement, learning and some exciting visits and, of course, a renewed vigour for the fulfilling life in optics that we all share."
An impressive roster of speakers are lined up to speak at this special one-day summit which will be held in conjunction with the SILMO Academy conference. This will include Fiona Anderson, President of IOA, Alireza Parandian from Materialise, Robert Dalton from the Opticians Association of Canada, Olga Prenat from Essilor Group and Danai Tonkerdmongkol from Association of Thai Optometrists, just to name a few.
A wide ranging topics that will be shared by the speakers include topics such as Excellence in Pediatric Dispensing, Standing Proud in the Delivery of Quality Vision, Presbyopia Solutions for the Digital Age, Exciting prospect of personalization for eyewear professionals, New Innovations in Single Vision Lenses, just to name a few.
This special IOA Summit at SILMO Bangkok 2020 on 10th June 2020 is open free-of-charge to all exhibitors, attendees and delegates of SILMO Bangkok 2020. In additional to expanding their international networks, all attendees to this summit are entitled to sign up for free memberships of IOA. So this is a good opportunities for local Thai and regional optical players to get connected internationally through IOA and be part of the global community of optics.

SILMO Bangkok 2020, is the third edition ASEAN optical fair under the theme "Business Meets Fashion".
