LSG Sky Chefs bake around the clock . Whenever you visit the bakery of LSG Sky Chefs in Frankfurt one thing is certain, you are sure to find the wonderful aroma of freshly-baked rolls in the air. No wonder, because it produces a total of around 100,000 rolls a day. The long bread roll line at Lufthansas catering company operates around the clock. Up to 10,000 crispy rolls an hour come off the production line. And there is something to suit every taste: 20 different sorts of roll are baked here and finally find their way to the trays of the Lufthansa passengers aboard the aircraft. With such an enormous production effort, of course, one thing is absolutely essential: huge quantities of flour. Every day the staff of the bakery use two tons of wheat and 600 kilograms of rye flour. And on top of that the LSAG Sky Chefs bakery also produces a huge quantity of cakes: around 12,000 a day leave the busy bakery.
Lufthansa German Airlines operates daily flight between Bangkok and Frankfurt, three of which continue to Ho Chi Minh City, and four to Kuala Lumpur. These flights make Lufthansa the leading European airline serving the region with the most connections to and from Europe and to three other major cities in the region.
