Bangkok--14 Jun--DTAC Total Access Communication Plc (DTAC) received an official notice, dated June 12 2007, from NTC’s Dispute Resolution Committee (DRC). The DRC has issued a decision in the dispute request filed by DTAC against TOT. The DRC confirmed DTAC’s right to enter into an interconnection agreement with TOT. In its decision, the DRC stated that the NTC should order TOT to enter into negotiations with DTAC for an interconnection agreement and that the current refusal of TOT to enter into negotiations with DTAC is not justified. DTAC entered into a dispute resolution process with TOT on February 13, 2007, following TOT’s refusal to enter into negotiations for an interconnection agreement with DTAC pursuant to the NTC regulation on Interconnection.
