Thai bourse to list central bank bonds worth THB 20 billion

Bangkok--21 Jun--SET The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has approved new listings on the Bond Electronic Exchange (BEX) from Bank of Thailand worth THB 20,000 million (about USD 576.37 million). The issue, BOT50/57/14D, which has a 14-day maturity and falls due on July 9, 2007, will commence trading on June 25, 2007, using “CB07709A” as its trading symbol. This issue will lift BEX-listed government bonds to THB 3.180 trillion (about USD 91.642 billion), or 89.98% of the value of all listed bonds. The total value of bonds listed is now THB 3.534 trillion (about USD 101.844 billion). Those wishing to invest in BEX-listed bonds should contact any securities firm.
