Bangkok--2 Jul--SET The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has approved new listings on the Bond Electronic Exchange (BEX) from Bank of Thailand worth THB 30,000 million (about USD 864.55 million). The issues will commence trading on July 2, 2007, with the following details: - BOT50/62/14D, worth THB 20,000 million with a 14-day maturity and due on July 16, 2007, will use “CB07716A” as its trading symbol. - BOT50/63/14D, worth THB 10,000 million with a 14-day maturity and due on July 17, 2007, will use “CB07717A” as its trading symbol. This issue will lift BEX-listed government bonds to THB 3.21 trillion (about USD 92.56 billion), or 90.12% of the value of all listed bonds. The total value of bonds listed is now THB 3.56 trillion (about USD 102.71 billion).Those wishing to invest in BEX-listed bonds should contact any securities firm.
