Bangkok--16 Jul--Sansiri Sansiri group unveiled its plan to become the market leader in the real estate sector after the overwhelming success of its projects in every property segment. The group also recorded the impressive total pre-sale backlog worth Bt20 billion, the highest value in the property sector. The group will also launch 13 new projects in the second half of this year worth totaling Bt10 billion. Of total number, five are the upscale condominium projects in the central business district areas and resort areas. Meanwhile, it will further expand its mid-end single house development project, while its subsidiaries will focus on the mid-end to low-end residential projects, including the condominium, townhouse, and twin-house projects. Sansiri Plc's President, Srettha Thavisin said that the group still focuses on boosting its business growth in the second half of this year, aiming to be the top market player. Currently the group's pre-sale backlog value stands at almost Bt20 billion, the highest value in the property development sector at the present. The group will start realizing the revenue from the backlog from this year throughout the next three years. He said that in the second half of this year, the group would launch additional 13 projects, covering the condominium, single house, and townhouse development in order to cater the demand of customers in all segments. The total value of projects is around Bt10 billion. "Our real state development projects have been very successful. During the first half of this year, we already recorded the total pre-sale value of around Bt12 billion, compared to our target of Bt15 billion for the whole year, thanks to our projects'brisk sales in all segments. Our upscale condominium projects, including the SIRI at Sukhumvit by Sansiri and the Baan San Pluem resort condominium in Hua Hin, also registered the overwhelming demand," "The group's single house projects have also witnessed the high demand and the brand recognition, from Narasiri project, Setthasiri project, Burasiri project, to Saransiri project," he added. Srettha said that the residential projects of the company's subsidiaries, such as My Condo projects and townhouse projects of Plus Property, and Baan Promtpat housing project in Ramindra of Prompattana Property, have also earned the enthusiastic respond from the consumers. During the second half of this year, Sansiri group will launch four high-tier condominium projects in the central business district zones, together with one to two resort condominium projects, all worth a combined Bt5 billion. More, it will develop one single house project worth Bt700 million for mid-tier consumers. He added that Sansiri would have its subsidiaries - Plus Property, Prompattana Property, and Red Lotus Property, developed the projects of condominium, townhouse, single house, and twin-house, plus the resort villa, to cater the huge demand of the consumers. The Sansiri group has targeted to completely deliver all the residential places to the buyers worth total of Bt13.5 billion this year. Of total, most are the condominiums, followed by the single houses and townhouses. Currently the group has 34 projects on the development process, of which 13 are the single house projects, 11 condominium projects, 10 townhouse projects, and one land plot development project.
