Bangkok--2 Aug--Aziam Burson-Marsteller The Office of the Basic Education Commission and the Big C Foundation have invited secondary school students to join “The Marathon Reading Contest”, which is designed to encourage reading among Thai children in order to celebrate H.M. the King’s 80th birthday anniversary. Prizes awarded will total 1 million baht and the overall winner will receive Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Cup. Students can obtain an application form at any Big C customer service counter nationwide or they can download it at www.bigc.co.th. Applications will be accepted from today until August 15.
