Thai bourse to list central bank bonds worth THB 20 billion on August 9

Bangkok--8 Aug--SET The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has approved new listings on the Bond Electronic Exchange (BEX) worth THB 20 billion (about USD 589.97 million) from the Bank of Thailand (BOT). BOT50/81/14D, with a 14-day maturity and falling due on August 23, 2007, will commence trading on August 9, 2007, using “CB07823A” as its trading symbol. This issue will lift BEX-listed government bonds to THB 3.157 trillion (about USD 93.126 billion), or 90.04% of the value of all listed bonds. The total listed value of all bonds now rises to THB 3.506 trillion (about USD 103.422 billion). Those wishing to invest in BEX-listed bonds should contact any securities firm.
