Bangkok--8 Aug--SET Integrated steel product provider Thai Yuan Metal PCL (TYM) will list on The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET)’s Property & Construction Industry Group after raising THB 300 million to build its new factory. The company’s securities will start trading on August 9, using “TYM” as its trading symbol, SET Executive Vice President Mr. Vichate Tantiwanich said. TYM has THB 400 million of paid-up capital, consisting of existing 300 million shares and 100 million shares in capital increase, at a THB 1.00 par value each. During July 31—August 1, 2007, the company sold its capital increase shares in its initial public offering (IPO) at THB 3.00 per share, raising a total of THB 300 million. Of 100 million IPO shares, 45 million shares were distributed to its underwriter’s patrons and another 55 million shares to the company’s patrons. BFIT Securities PCL acted as TYM’s underwriter. The IPO price of TYM is equal to a 9.375 price-earnings (P/E) ratio, or a 2.78% discount from its sector P/E at 9.643. for the company’s dividend policy is to pay out no less than 50% of its net profits after taxes. TYM is an integrated steel product provider offering raw materials, and finished and processed products to wholesalers, manufacturers, contractors and consumers. Its businesses include steel trading and warehousing and a coil center that processes hot rolled coil to steel works according to customers’ specifications. TYM’s principal shareholder is Mr. Panu Jarupirun who, with related persons, collectively holds 65% of TYM’s paid-up capital after the IPO.
