Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding PCL. [SET symbol: RATCH] today announces the resolution of the Board of Directors of the Company to pay the interim dividend 2007; generated from the first half year operating results, to the Company’s shareholders of the total 1,450,000,000 shares at 1.00 baht per share, which is accounted to be 1,450,000,000 Baht in total. The interim dividend 2007 will be paid to shareholders on September 17, 2007 respectively. From the Board of Directors of the Company meeting held on August 20, 2007, the closing date of shareholders register book for the right to receive the interim dividend 2007 is scheduled to be on September 4, 2007 at 12.00 a.m. The interim dividend 2007 is paid from the net income that derived from the corporate tax exemption; therefore, the shareholders shall not be entitled to a tax credit on this dividend.
