Bangkok--29 Aug--set Thailand’s Bond Electronic Exchange (BEX) has listed five bond issues, totaling THB 5 billion (approx. USD 145.05 million), made up of three bonds issues from True Corporation PCL (TRUE), and two from the Ministry of Finance (MoF). Their details are: 1. Debentures of TRUE, worth THB 4 billion, received BBB credit rating from TRIS Rating Co., Ltd. The issues will commence trading on August 30, 2007. - No. 1/2007, tranche 1, worth THB 1 billion, with a 2.1-year maturity due on July 7, 2009. The issue bears a fixed interest rate of 5.70% p.a., and will use “TRUE097A” as its trading symbol. Interest payment will be made every six months. - No. 1/2007, tranche 2, worth THB 2 billion, with a 3.1-year maturity due on July 7, 2010. The issue bears a fixed interest rate of 6.20% p.a., and will use “TRUE107A” as its trading symbol. Interest payment will be made every six months. - No. 1/2007, tranche 3, worth THB 1 billion, with a 5.1-year maturity due on July 7, 2012. The issue bears a fixed interest rate of 6.80% p.a., and will use “TRUE127A” as its trading symbol. Interest payment will be made every six months. 2. Savings bonds issued by the MoF worth THB 1 billion are: - SLOAN49/12/3Y, worth THB 500 million, with a 3-year maturity due on September 15, 2009. The issue bears a fixed interest rate of 5.60% p.a. Interest payment will be made every six months. It will commence trading on September 17, 2007, using “SB099B” as its trading symbol. - SLOAN50/01/3Y, worth THB 500 million, with a 3-year maturity due on October 15, 2009. The issue bears a fixed interest rate of 5.50% p.a. Interest payment will be made every six months. It will commence trading on October 16, 2007, using “SB09OA” as its trading symbol. The above issues lift total corporate issues to THB 0.345 trillion (approx. USD 10.01 billion), and government issues to THB 3.179 trillion (approx. USD 92.23 billion).
