Bangkok--4 Sep--JWT (Thailand) Future Park Rangsit invites people with sweet tooth to venture into the sweet magical land packed with tempting dessert items from over 30 leading bakeries and ice cream parlours boasting their best products of ice cream, candies and chocolates. Also, the event features 4 styles of ‘Sweet Secrets’ from 4 socialites who celebrate the ‘Sweet Mania’ occasion by painting the magical town of sweets red. This event will be inaugurated by Princess Ubolratana on 30th August 2007. Bangkok - Ms.Jittinan Wanglee Vice President — Sale of Rangsit Plaza Company Limited, the operator of Future Park Rangsit Shopping Complex, says that the Future Park is organizing the ‘Sweet Mania: The Fantastic World of Desserts’ between 30th August and 9th September 2007 at G-Floor Plenary Hall of the shopping complex. The festival showcases a wide selection of sweets and unveils the secrets of dessert making to enthusiasts, as well as fulfills the lifestyle of customers of the shopping complex. Customers will be impressed with the magical arrays of sweets, ranging from bakery products, ice creams, to confectionery from over 30 leading stores in Thailand. Highlights include millefeuille (‘mille’ means thousand and ‘feuille’ means leaves, thus millefeuille means thousand leaves) from Le Notre, the original French bakery that is popular among both Thai and foreign customers. Other tempting items highlighting the event include Doucer Noisette, a popular dessert made from chocolate and chocolate mousse; chou cream from Religieuse Cafe which is a kind of puff cream with smooth coffee-flavoured custard cream; and the refreshing flan custard tarts in three flavours — cherry, peach and vanilla. Also, Boat’s Bakery features creative three-dimensional cake that lets customers design the dressing of their cake using different kind of icing sugar. Visage bakery also touts its customers with its famous freshly-baked homemade bread and chocolate desserts. Duc de Parslin, a Belgian chocolate parlour known for the wide variety of its choco-creations and adorable packages that make wonderful gifts, also features their signature items such as Romance, a heart-shaped white chocolate, or Coffee Truffle thickly coated with chocolate powder. Also, there are Cointreau, Nousetino, and Chan which is a Thai dessert with modern twist of being bite-sized and colourful and packed with refreshing flavours. Ms. Jittinan continues that this Sweet Mania festival will also feature 4 famous socialites who will brighten up the occasion with their very own styles of cake decorations under the ‘Sweet Secrets’ theme. MR. Srikamrung ‘Mangmum’ Yukon will decorate her cake in the mystic ‘Sweet Magic’ theme with a tempting look served with a good cup of jasmine tea. Sunantasa ‘Joy’ Jiramaneekul is fresh and sweet with her ‘Sweet Blossom’ cake layered with pastel tones of icing and adorned with fresh flowers creating the atmosphere of a natural spring garden served with her favorite tea ‘Earl Grey.’ Tiyada ‘Taew’ Tiyawongsakul creates sheer and silky ‘Sweet Challenger’ cake served with Dilmah and Darjeeling tea.
