Bangkok--6 Sep--SET Thailand’s Bond Electronic Exchange (BEX) has listed four bond issues, totaling THB 106 billion (approx. USD 3.04 billion), made up of three bonds issues from the Bank of Thailand, and one from the Expressway and Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (ETA). Their details are: 1. Bank of Thailand bonds worth THB 105 billion are: - BOT50/90/14D, worth THB 30 million, with a 14-day maturity due on September 20, 2007, will commence trading on September 6, 2007, using “CB07920A” as its trading symbol. - BOT50/09/364D, worth THB 50 billion, with a 364-day maturity due on September 11, 2008, will commence trading on September 11, 2007, using “CB08911A” as its trading symbol. - BOT50/03/FRB3Y, worth THB 25 billion, with a 3-year maturity due on September 25, 2010, will commence trading on September 21, 2007, using “BOT109A” as its trading symbol. The bond bears a 6-month BIBOR (Bangkok Interbank Offered Rate) interest rate minus 0.20%. Interest payment will be made every six months. 2. ETA50/07/6Y, worth THB 1 billion, with a 6-year maturity due on September 17, 2013 will commence trading on September 17, 2007, using “ETA139A” as its trading symbol. The above issues lift total government issues to THB 3.285 trillion (approx. USD 95.49 billion) or 90.30% of the value of all listed bonds.
