According to IDC, the Division also achieved its target market share of 18 per-cent within the first half of this year — well ahead of schedule. It was originally aimed to achieve this figure by the end of 2007. “As we have achieved 18 per-cent market share earlier than we expected, this is shown as our major success for 2007,” said Capt. Soontorn. This new five series of multifunction copiers increases a product variety to fulfill demand in Thailand, particular the government sector, SME and large enterprises, and at the same time increase Canon’s advantage over its competitors.
