Bangkok--2 Nov--SET Mill Con Steel Industries PCL (MILL), a steel producer and distributor, will list on the Market for Alternative Investment (mai) on November 6, 2007, after raising THB 290 million for business expansion and working capital. The firm will use the trading symbol MILL, mai President Mr. Chanitr Charnchainarong said. The company has total paid-up capital of THB 400 million, consisting of 300 million existing common shares and 100 million capital increase shares, with a par value of THB 1.00 each. The firm offered 100 million shares at its initial public offering (IPO), on October 25 — 26, and 29, 2007, at THB 2.90 per share. KTB Securities Co., Ltd. is its financial advisor. MILL’s IPO price reflects a P/E ratio of 11 (based on mai’s three-month P/E ratio from July 19 — October 19, 2007). Meanwhile, mai’s average P/E ratio as of October, 31, 2007 was 12.76. The firm’s dividend payment policy is to pay no less than 40% of its net profit after allocating all reserves required by law. MILL produces and distributes round steel bars and structural steel products, such as slitting coil, steel plate and steel strip, with most of these being sold domestically. The firm has three major shareholders - the Leeswadtrakul family with a combined shareholding of 42.19%, Mr. Komon Jungroongruangkit holding 6.25%, and Advance Metal Fabrications Co., Ltd. with 5% of paid-up capital after the IPO.
