The appointment is effective immediately. The hotel is delighted by the arrival of its new and dynamic Executive Sous Chef, Luca Pulese. The 36-year-old Italian has over 15 years experience in the hospitality industry. Chef Luca has a lifelong passion for food. Much of the formative years of his culinary career were been spent working in Italy and he is a master of his native cuisine. He went on to work in some of the world’s most prestigious hotels including The Great Wall Sheraton Hotel in Beijing, the largest hotel in the city and home to seven restaurants. He has also worked at the Conrad Maldives on Rangali Island. Chef Luca was chosen as the personal chef to His Royal Highness the Prince of Jordan during his stay at Hilton Maldives, and his cooking has appeared in many magazines. At the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers, Chef Luca will be in charge of Giorgio’s, a delightful restaurant renowned for serving exquisite modern Italian cuisine. With a recently refurbished interior and an expansive riverside terrace for al fresco dining, Giorgio’s is the perfect venue for a memorable evening’s dining.
