The resorts are members of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and as such enjoy an exclusive clientele for their all Pool-Villas resorts. Chef Didier Jacob began his culinary training at the BEP Cuisine & Patisserie Industrial and Vocational Training Board IVTB in his hometown of Rose Hill, Mauritius. Worked at the Royal Palm 5 star property in Mauritius, since then, he has traveled extensively throughout Europe and the islands of the Indian Ocean owning his skills in restaurants which include the 3 star Bernard L’oiseau France, Patrick Gillbault in Dublin and Jean George Vongerichten’s Market Restaurant in Paris, France. In August 2004, Chef Didier began his tenure as Chef de Cuisine at the renowned luxury resort Sandy Lane in Barbados, West Indies. In 2006, he joined the Eau zone restaurant at the One and Only Royal Mirage in Dubai with high skill in Asian fusion cuisine and Arabic cuisine.
