In celebration of the annual Vegetarian Festival, Thara Thong has introduced a fabulous selection of meat-free dishes in addition to the restaurant’s usual menu. Diners at Thara Thong can enjoy vegetarian delights created by Chef Charoensri Vatanayut, including por pia pak sod, fresh spring rolls with bean curd, bean sprouts, cucumber, carrot, spring onion and celery with a sweet and sour sauce. The well-balanced selection of dishes also features laab tohoo grob, deep-fried tofu salad with Thai spicy herbs, and salad pak gab sauce tua, a fresh mixed salad with boiled egg, tofu, potato, crispy taro and a peanut sauce. Another vegetarian dish not to be missed is kanom beung sai pak, special crispy crepes wrapped with vegetables, tofu, and coconut flakes served with a cucumber dip The special menu provides maximum flavour and exceptional value.
