Bangkok--10 Oct--Mileage SriLankan Airlines, the national carrier of Sri Lanka, recently sponsored the marching band from Sarasit Phitayalai School to participate in the World Children’s Day in Sri Lanka. To celebrate this auspicious occasion and to promote friendship between the two countries, the 76 youths, representing Thailand, will perform at the nation’s capital in front of the Sri Lankan President and in several major cities around Sri Lanka. This musical concert, using the theme ‘Marching towards Peace with Children’, is sponsored by the Sri Lankan Government and the Salesian Congregation in Sri Lanka. Its goal is to spread the message of peace and harmony through music among the children of Sri Lanka.
