Best Western International, the World’s Largest Hotel Chain?, participates in the APTIC & EXPO 2008 in Korea with an aim to promote its existing properties within Asia as well as its upcoming Best Western hotels & resorts.
The annual Asia Pacific Tourism Investment Conference & Expo (APTIC & EXPO) on October 29 - 31, 2008, is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) and organized by the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO). More than 4,000 participants are expected to join the exhibition which will feature companies in the travel and tourism industry.
BGH Korea Co. Ltd., Best Western’s area development office in Korea, will represent Best Western hotels in the exhibition. Glenn de Souza, BWI Vice President International Operations for Asia will also be at the conference to discuss about Best Western’s aggressive expansion in Asia.
“We expect to meet a wide range of opportunities for business networking and future potential partnerships. It will also be a great avenue for us to showcase our Best Western hotels and Best Western Premier within the region,” de Souza claimed.
There are currently more than 10 Best Western properties in South Korea in various stages of operations and development. In Asia, there are over 130 Best Western properties in operations and different stages of development. The aim of Best Western International is to achieve 200 hotels in Asia by the year 2010.
