Mr. Gregory J. Meadows, General Manager of The Sukhothai Bangkok, has appointed Ms.Wannapa Rakkeo as the hotelกฆs new Director of Business Development.
Wannapa spent her childhood in the Royal Thai Embassy, New Delhi, where her father was the Naval AttacheS and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in the Faculty of Humanities from Chiang Mai University. After university, she was a part of the editorial team for the English version of ''Manager'' magazine and later on fullfilled her dream by joining Cathay Pacific Airways as a Flight Attendant, based in Hong Kong.
Wannapa came back to Thailand and embarked on a career in Public Relations. Her extensive PR and Marketing Communications experience includes positions at Marriott Resorts & Spas (Thailand) where she acheived an award of กงOutstanding Performance 2001กจ and at the Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya, Central Hotels & Resorts.
Her last position before joing The Sukhothai Bangkok was as the Director of Marketing Communications at the Conrad Bangkok where she worked for 4 years.
This is a new role for me and I am very excited. I work closely with Sales & Marketing, Public Relations and Food & Beverage. Many people sum up this role as the กงHotelกฆs Creativeกจ and I look forward to meeting the challenge. said Wannapa.
