The day of Thanksgiving is approaching so gather your family and friends for the special celebration of food and feasting at Marriott Cafe of the Hua Hin Marriott Resort and Spa on the 27th November.
The American thanksgiving tradition dates back to the year 1620 when the English settlers known as the pilgrims organized a feast right after a bountiful harvest as they had recently survived a harsh winter in Plymouth, Massachusettes. It was a gesture of thanks to the Almighty for their deliverance as well as a display of gratitude towards native Indians.
Hua Hin Marriott is preparing its annual event with the traditional spread of turkey and special trimmings of stuffing, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, corn, pumpkin and apple pie. Additional delicacies include slow roasted honey ham and baked herb marinated Sea bass with lemongrass.
For families or groups, the Hotel is offering group bookings of eight people a whole US Butterball turkey plus traditional trimmings for the table in additional to the sumptuous buffet spread.
