Thai Airways International Public Company Limited announces the extension of ticket validation, travel related documents as well as Royal Orchid Plus mileage redemption period, in order to facilitate inconvenienced passengers and reduce the number of passengers at THAI’s ticketing offices during this period.
Due to the Airports of Thailand (AOT)’s announcement on the temporary closure of Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang International Airport since 25 November 2008, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited had to cancel its inbound and outbound flights to the two airports until they resume normal operations.
Mr. Pandit Chanapai, THAI’s Executive Vice President, Commercial Department said that in order to facilitate inconvenienced passengers and reduce the number of passengers at THAI’s ticketing offices during this period, THAI will extend the validation date of tickets and travel related documents, including Royal Orchid Holidays Travel Orders, which have been expired since 25 November 2008 until 31 January 2009. THAI requests passengers to contact THAI’s offices and appointed travel agents worldwide to confirm their travels as soon as the airports resume normal operations.
THAI’s Royal Orchid Plus members holding redemption tickets for travel up to 5 December 2008 may change their flights and travel dates or recredit without fee unitl 30 June 2009. For further information on THAI’s Royal Orchid Plus, please visit www.thaiairways.com/rop
