Due to the Airports of Thailand (AOT)’s announcement on the temporary closure of Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang International Airport since 25 November 2008, resulting in a number of stranded passengers.
THAI has arranged special flights to facilitate inconvenienced passengers.
THAI passengers with ticket reservations before 25 November 2008, and during 25 November — 5 December 2008, MUST contact THAI to rebook their flights.
International and Domestic Flights Departure from Thailand
Check in for passengers with confirmed reservation traveling on THAI international flights is available at
BITEC (Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition), Hall EH 106, Bang-na, Tel 0-2749-3939, 0-2749-3980
- International flights, passengers must check in at BITEC at least seven (7) hours before flights departure for check-in and custom formalities.
- Domestic flights, passengers will transfer from BITEC to U-Tapao airport for check-in.
U-Tapao Passengers must check in at U-Tapao Airport at least three (3) hours before flight departure.
Note: Passengers can check-in to first destination only.

THAI provides transfer service from U-Tapao Airport to THAI Head Office on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road
Transfer Service also available every hour, during 07.00 — 19.00 hrs from the following hotels to BITEC:

Twin Tower (Rama XI Road)
